Feel The Spin Playlist, April 4th...

Hour 1
(Brand-new/current releases. I'm crazy-addicted to "Skinny Little Bitch." It's classic Courtney Love by way of "Celebrity Skin." I've also been having fun listening to Ellie Goulding and Marina & the Diamonds. I'm delighted that they're starting to get some attention in the States.)

I'm Not A Robot - Marina & the Diamonds

Nothing At All - Levi Kreis

Hour 2
(An eclectic hour that leans heavily on songs that sound good to me on a warm spring day. I love the blend of "Angel of Harlem" into "Waitin' On A Sunny Day." It's sorta like a musical equivalent to a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Oh, and I stand by my assertion that Patti Smith's reading of "When Doves Cry" is superior to the original. To my ears, she finds emotion and intensity in the lyrics that Prince didn't.)
